“You’ve been beautiful and brilliant since the day you were born and everyday since. You’re harder on yourself than anyone else could be so stop and remember that you are a masterpiece, every day, every hour, every minute!”

Lord, thank you for your love and protection. Thank you for vulnerability and for softness. Thank you for divine purpose and for strength. I say this prayer to say thank you, in all things. Your will. Amen.
Just in case you forgot…🐝
Gotta reblog every time
Black women’s pain and collective experiences with sexism, misogyny, racism, transmisogyny, mimicry violence and misgynoir aren’t taken seriously by Black men in our community, so there’s always a level of resitance when we speak out challenging that and it’s exhausting and insulting. Our humanity and concerns are valid period and we shouldn’t have to have these fuck ass cyclical conversations but here we are. Like put your fucking egos away and the wack ass narrative of splitting the Black community by us daring to speak out about intra-racial issues in the Black community and listen to us instead of seeing it as an attack on your precious poisonous and hurtful patriarichal narrative. Like just listen and don’t see that as an attack on Blackness, the Black community or family. Our issues are valid as fuck and need to be addressed because the shit is ridiculously painful for us as Black women. It goes beyond this internet shit, if a Black woman is telling you about her narrative and pain listen to her and be reflective on your own behaviors. It’s the LEAST you can do. (I shouldn’t have to write this but this is a post speaking to Black women and men so if you are neither this isn’t for you)
